The history of the band

Since the beginning of 2005, THE SHOUTS have been consolidating as one of the most important “Beatles Tribute Bands” of Argentina and the world.

The band was born when Bernardo Rapallini and Ignacio Criscuolo joined, in the roles of George Harrison and Paul McCartney respectively. They have shared a huge trajectory in the field of tribute bands since 1997. In 2002, they were recognized as the “Official Beatle Band” in Argentina , by the Argentinian Beatles Official Fans Club (Apple Corp.), after winning the annual contest “Latin American Beatle Week” that took place at The Cavern Club Buenos Aires that year. In 2003, THE SHOUTS were the only Argentinian representatives in the “International Beatle Week” in Liverpool . And in the same year, they were also awarded the “Lennon Peace Award” as the Outstanding band of the Year.

In 2006, Fernando Lotito (awarded Best Lennon of Latin America by the Cavern Club Buenos Aires Awards) joins the band in the rol of John Lennon, together with Guido Spina as keyboard player and in charge of vocal and musical direction.

Finally, and in the great role of Ringo Starr, Adrián Olivieri, also recognized as one of the Best Ringo of the Tribute circuit, joins the band in 2007.

In December of 2005, THE SHOUTS are chosen as the Best band of the “5 th Latin American Beatle Week”. This award gave THE SHOUTS an international official recognition which allowed them to become Argentinian and Latin American Ambassadors in the International Beatle Week in Liverpool, England , in 2006. And to honour this recognition, the band went to England in August of that year.

THE SHOUTS were a complete success in Liverpool (both recognized by people and the festival organization) where the audience was amazingly surprised by the close physical, musical, vocal and stage performance with the legendary BEATLES (10 outfit changes for every show). With no doubts, THE SHOUTS were officially invited to participate again in the biggest Beatle festival of the world in 2007.

This is how in August of 2007, THE SHOUTS start their second trip to England, where they gain for the second time the audience´s recognition as one of the most loyal bands to the Beatles, creating a big impact with their looks, outfits and talent even to well-known artists such as Gerry and the Peacemakers and The Searchers.

Nowadays, THE SHOUTS are performing in theatres of Buenos Aires and the interior of the country, presenting “Liverpool Shouts!”, the well recognized show in Liverpool . And they are arranging their 3 rd Latin American representation at the International Beatle Week 2008.
